Biochemistry as a subject stands tall in the annals of scientific and medical research. An arena for intellectual indulgence with scientific breakthroughs and insights as a norm, the current form of the subject unlocks every door of modern medicine.
To keep our students abreast with these developments, the Department of Biochemistry at ACMS includes a curriculum that is fundamental, balanced and comprehensive. Our teaching modules strive to create an atmosphere that is conducive to learning as well as encourages independent thought. Our endeavor over the years will be to inculcate a biochemical rationale of health and disease which in tandem with other medical branches will create a generation of informed and inquisitive medical practitioners.
